Every graduate trainee who joins Aricent will be assigned with a mentor who will support them with their on the job training and management skills to support Client requirements.
In addition we have a learning portal that has numerous courses online to which the trainees can undertake to enhance their technical capabilities and knowledge.

The successful candidates will have the following Common Test responsibilities:
• Analysis of design specifications and requirements to decide most appropriate test scenarios and process for each application to be tested
• Create test scenarios and supporting documentation
• Design and creation of test environment and data required to enable testing
• Execution of test plans/scenarios
• Monitor & report results & defect resolution using Quality Centre
• Integration testing into core platform, IT systems and processes.
• Operational Readiness testing
• Defect management & administration
• Analyse root cause of, and trends in, issues highlighted during testing to identify problem areas, reduce errors and to suggest further improvements in the development process.
Aricent's four priority areas for their new Graduate Software Engineers are outlined below. Please specify within your cover letter how your skills, aptitude and interests specifically match one or more of these.
1. Contact Centre Tester
You will be CCNA Certified and have an understanding of the following:
• IP based Cisco Contact Center and some hands-on testing experience
• IPCC Contact Center
• Support ICM
• CVP call routing scripts and required reports
2. Automation Engineer
The successful graduate will have automation experience using scripting languages like Python, Shell scripts, Selenium, Cucumber, Java etc. Open stack, Python, SDN Controller, Orchestration and plug-ins.
3. Hadoop tester
You will write the test strategy and test plans around the Hadoop platforms listed below.

b. Kafka Aggregators g. YARN
c. Flume Edge Nodes h. Zoo Keeper
d. HDFS i. Ansible tower
e. Hunk j. Cloudera Manager
4. Mobile App Tester
The Mobile App Tester will have a strong knowledge of Mobile Application testing on iOS and Android as well as some understanding of HP ALM QC. You should be attentive to details with respect to UI Testing (wireframes etc.) and be a good communicator (written and spoken).
Aricent are looking for determined individuals with a degree in an IT discipline and/or who have some experience gained in a similar software development environment. You should be capable of absorbing new information in a fast moving project environment, and acting upon it accordingly.
You should be proactive with good organisation skills and excellent attention to detail. A strong team ethic as well as the ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, are required. You should be a lateral thinker with a professional manner.
