Momentum is an integrated, London-based transport consultancy. We are working on some of the most exciting and challenging planning and infrastructure projects, as well as large sport stadia and major events projects in London, Europe and across the world. Our Planning team are driven to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for clients, with the aim of enhancing space in a way that serves its community and stakeholders.
Our clients include major developers, architects and contractors; they include Landsec, The London Legacy Development Corporation, British Land, Delancey, Grosvenor, Segro, Brockton Capital, Brookfield, Mace, Multiplex and Mount Anvil. As well as our London-based development planning work, we have undertaken, we have recently expanded into Montreal and have undertaken projects in San Francisco, Moscow, Baku, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Ashgabat, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.

We have an opportunity for a talented graduate to join our Planning team on a full-time and permanent basis, based in our London office. We strongly believe in giving our junior members of the team training, responsibility and opportunities they need to develop, and our bespoke business of 33 staff means that all of our team are exposed to a wide variety of interesting project work and clients.
From day 1 the successful candidate would undertake a range of work across the transport planning environment, including research, analysis, forecasting, contributions to proposals and reports. Who we are looking for:
You will be a self-starter, love working in a small hard-working team and have a passion for the Urban Built environment and its challenges. You will be forward-thinking and have ideas about sustainable transport solutions for the future city.
Specific skills and experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analysis skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular, Word and Excel
- A recently completed relevant degree (e.g. Geography, Planning and Urbanism studies, Mathematics)
- Comfortable working on large data sets
