Salary: £30,396 - £30,896 +£1,000 Sign on Bonus*, 10% Annual Bonus, Share Scheme, Pension, Flexible working and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What do we do?
At Peterborough we design, develop and manufacture the Powertrain Solutions for Caterpillar and other branded equipment; as well delivering analytics and digital services to our customers. Our graduate scheme will allow you to explore various roles and disciplines around the business. You will be working as part of a global engineering team helping to create sustainable, world-changing solutions that impact lives around the globe.
What experiences can we offer you?
Our graduate training scheme is accredited by the IMechE. Each successful applicant is assigned a home department which are determined based on your experiences, your ambitions and current business needs. This will be your touch point throughout your four bespoke six-month rotations. From day one you will be embedded in a team solving real world problems. You will get to work and collaborate with people in Caterpillar facilities worldwide. The home departments include:
• Simulation – systems, Thermofluids and structural analysis
• Design components / engines
• Engine performance development, simulation and calibration
• Controls – machine integration, calibration and algorithm development
• Systems engineering
We will provide you with a mentor to support you throughout your professional development to help you gain Chartered or Incorporated Status with your chosen institution.

Who are we looking for?
As the type of roles within our business are becoming more diverse, we are looking for people who are open minded, excellent problem solvers and who have an ability to learn quickly. Prior engine knowledge is not required. We will provide you the training and support you need to be successful at Caterpillar.
Applicants should be studying for a degree in Engineering or applied Maths and Science and have achieved or be on track to achieve at minimum of a 2:2. We are looking for talented, ambitious people from various backgrounds who are interested in setting out on the road to success.
