The Operations department works in partnership with the multiple business lines in front office, providing pre/post trade support for transactions executed in Fixed Income, Equities, Financing and Derivative markets.
Operations plays a key role in delivering an optimal, full-spectrum service for all clients supporting functions including Middle Office, Collateral Management, Client On-boarding and Settlements. This allows members of staff to develop an understanding of the business and an appreciation of the end-to-end processes supporting the life-cycle of a transaction.
In addition to core responsibilities, Operations support new business proposals, regulatory change and general initiatives to improve the way the department operates.
As a graduate in the Operations department, you will gain exposure to all departments firm-wide (including Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Technology & Finance) developing a strong understanding of the businesses we support, trade life-cycle and regulatory landscape. This will help develop a broad understanding of investment banking and will be supplemented with training opportunities to aid further development.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem solving skills, strong team orientation and an awareness of risk management whilst demonstrating a positive work ethic to facilitate the delivery of a first class service to our clients / front office.
