Technical Founders wanted for a 15-month paid applied graduate educational programme.

Alacrity is a unique educational charity that provides graduates with practical business training, software skills and mentoring so that they can develop as entrepreneurs and launch a UK based technology company. Alacrity combines graduates from technology, science and design disciplines with those from a business background to form teams of four / five people. The aim is to unleash a new generation of British technology companies and they look for graduates that have the motivation to match this mission.

The programme, based in Newport, takes 18 exceptional minds with an entrepreneurial spirit for 15 months from September 2020 to November 2021.

We are looking for graduates from a STEM background, with the ambition and drive to run a scalable start-up in the South Wales area.

What do we offer?

*A 15 month applied educational programme developed by Prof Bill Aulet from MIT that runs from Sept ’20 to Nov ‘21

*£1,500 tax free stipend per month for the length of the programme

*A team of like-minded individuals with a variety of skills and experience

*Access to a range of strategic partners

*Support from over 50 mentors / coaches to help you create a demand led start-up

The best part?

Upon successful completion of the programme, the Foundation gifts its graduate members equity in their start-up company. Without firm financial foundations it can be near impossible for a new business to flourish. The Foundation works with an investment fund that gives our Alacrity graduate companies access of up to £250,000 of seed funding upon completion of the programme.
